What Is Matcha?
Matcha is a finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves. Unlike traditional green tea, where leaves are steeped and discarded, matcha involves consuming the entire leaf, providing a more potent source of nutrients. The tea plants are shade-grown for several weeks before harvest, enhancing their chlorophyll content and amino acids. This results in a bright green powder rich in antioxidants.
